Industrial Robotics Startup Sereact Raises €25M to Expand AI-Powered Automation Platform

Austrian robotics startup Sereact has secured €25 million in Series A funding to expand its artificial intelligence platform designed to power industrial robots. The funding round was led by venture capital firm Creandum and marks a major milestone for the young robotics company as demand for AI-driven automation continues to rise globally.

Sereact develops a hardware-agnostic AI platform that enables industrial robots to perceive and understand complex environments. Traditional robots typically rely on rigid programming and struggle when conditions change. Sereact’s technology allows robots to adapt to different objects, tasks, and environments through advanced computer vision and machine learning models.

The company says its system allows robots to perform tasks such as picking items from warehouses, sorting products, and handling logistics operations with greater flexibility than traditional automation systems. This is especially valuable in e-commerce warehouses and manufacturing environments where robots must deal with a wide variety of items.

With the new funding, Sereact plans to accelerate product development and expand into international markets, particularly North America. The company recently opened an office in Boston as part of its global expansion strategy.
