OnePlus has started pushing a new incremental software update for the OnePlus Nord 4 in India. The latest build, OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 (CPH2661_16.0.2.401(EX01)), is currently rolling out in batches, with a wider rollout expected in the coming days.

The update introduces several user experience improvements across system functions, photos, and multitasking features. Users can now launch storage cleanup tools directly from the Smart Sidebar, making it easier to manage storage. App icon resizing and shortcut rearrangement have also been improved, offering better customisation options.

The Photos app receives notable enhancements too, including new filters such as Motion Photo, Screenshots & screen recordings, and Edited. OnePlus has also improved thumbnail loading speeds for a smoother browsing experience.

In addition, the update improves the activation of Circle to Search, allowing users to trigger the feature even when the gesture guide bar is hidden. It also integrates the January 2026 Android security patch.

On the privacy front, users can now edit images and videos directly inside Private Safe without unlocking them. The Phone Manager app also introduces automatic blocklist updates for better spam and threat detection.

OnePlus notes that this update is only available for users already running OxygenOS 16. Those still on OxygenOS 15 must upgrade first to receive this build.
