Tecno Pova Slim 5G Debuts in India as World’s Thinnest Curved 5G Smartphone

Tecno has launched the new Pova Slim 5G in India, declaring it the world’s slimmest 3D curved 5G smartphone, measuring just 5.95mm thick and weighing only 156 grams. Priced at ₹19,999, the device is available in Sky Blue, Slim White, and Cool Black variants, hitting shelves across retail stores and Flipkart starting September 8, 2025.

The Tecno Pova Slim 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Protection and durability are provided by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, MIL-STD 810H certification, and an IP64 rating. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, the phone is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (plus 8GB virtual RAM) and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Battery capacity stands at 5,160mAh with 45W fast charging support.

Photography enthusiasts get a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary lens, with a 13MP front camera supporting multiple modes such as AI CAM and Super Night. Tecno also debuts the Dynamic Mood Light Design, where the rear panel lights up in response to calls and notifications, and Ella AI providing enhanced Indian language support for voice interactions and other smart features.
