OPPO has officially begun rolling out its ColorOS 15 August 2025 update, with the phased rollout starting on August 13 and scheduled to conclude by August 31. The update is reaching a wide range of OPPO smartphones across the Find and Reno series. Devices included in this wave are the OPPO Find N5, Find N3 Flip, Find N3, Find X8, Find X8 Pro, as well as the Reno14, Reno14 Pro, Reno13, Reno13 Pro, Reno12, Reno12 Pro, Reno11, and Reno11 Pro.
Among the key new features, BeaconLink stands out. This tool enables users to send text messages, images, and voice notes to nearby devices without requiring mobile data or Wi-Fi, making it useful in areas with poor or no connectivity. Another major feature is Split View, which enhances multitasking by allowing users to freely adjust the size of split-screen windows rather than being restricted to fixed ratios.
The Private Safe has also been updated, now allowing unlimited file storage for documents, along with better organization tools, customizable covers for albums, and sorting options for media by time. System improvements include smoother animations when opening or resizing floating windows, simplified notifications for landscape mode, and better stability.
Since the rollout is happening in batches, not all eligible users will receive the update immediately. However, OPPO has confirmed that all supported devices will get the update before August 31, 2025.
