Indian automaker Mahindra has brought a slice of Gotham to Indian roads with the launch of the BE 6 Batman Edition, an all-electric SUV inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy. Priced at ₹27.79 lakh, this limited-run model will be restricted to just 300 units.
In partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, Mahindra has given its flagship BE 6 EV a dark, stealthy makeover. The satin black finish is complemented by gold detailing on the suspension, brake calipers, and even the control knobs inside. The iconic Batman insignia appears across the design—on the hubcaps, glass panels, and even in the illuminated carpet projection.
Under the hood, the BE 6 Batman Edition retains the technical prowess of the top-tier BE 6 Pack Three: a 79 kWh battery powering dual motors, delivering up to 286 hp and a range of 682 km on a single charge. This ensures the vehicle isn’t just a showpiece, but also a capable daily driver.
The cabin continues the theme with suede and leather seats, gold stitching, and a limited-edition badge. A Batman-themed startup animation on the infotainment system sets the tone for every drive. Bookings begin on 23 August, with deliveries starting 20 September, marking International Batman Day.
Mahindra’s bold move taps into the growing culture of themed, high-end EVs, offering both performance and exclusivity for fans and collectors.
