Dhruva Space, a Hyderabad-based spacetech startup founded in 2012, is preparing to launch its first commercial mission, LEAP-1, in the third quarter of 2025. The mission will be carried out aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. LEAP-1 represents a key milestone for Dhruva Space and will feature the company’s indigenously developed P-30 satellite platform. This platform will carry advanced artificial intelligence and hyperspectral imaging payloads from Australian partners Akula Tech and Esper Satellites, marking a significant international collaboration in the spacetech sector.
